Re: hobby lobby fabric? nice to hear good reviews so far. i was impressed with the fabric for it not being a quilt shop and hoping the fabric i purchased washes well and will make for good quilting fabric. they had several prints that i have seen online from either fabric.com or elsewhere including some wizard of oz themed fabric. I was recently at hobby lobby and saw that coats and clarks thread is on clearance and there is a new rack for sewology thread. has anyone used this brand? how would you rate the quality? sew ology thread is not suitable for hand quilting, very thick, hard to thread, draggy, twists very badly.

Re: hobby lobby precuts fabric palette is the same brand you get at walmart here in canada, not sure about in the us though. i've also seen quilt shops selling fq's by the same company but would not pay more than walmart is charging. i'm using the "paloma" line for my farmer's wife/granddaughter quilt, and the fabric is actually nice.
