I don't know if that helps (apologies if not), but you might try to just use android studio anyway. seems like the thing that's failing is just haxm. it's not required to use android studio. it's required for the emulator to work faster. so if you don't intend to use the emulator or if the slower speed is acceptable to you then you should be able to still use android studio.
