This session showcased a shared commitment to advancing gender equality alongside ecological resilience and sustainable food systems. by elevating the voices of african women, it ignites inspiration for a global transformation toward inclusivity and sustainability in agriculture. The organic movement believes that, more than ever, the green deal and the farm to fork strategy remain the right policy direction to transform our food system. Ifoam eu’s president jan plagge states that: “agroecology should be the new horizon of the eu farming policy and of the upcoming farm to fork strategy”. ifoam euwelcomes that the commission is developing a systemic ‘farm to fork’ strategy on sustainable food along the whole supply chain. Agricultural research organisations (aros) are being urgently called to provide solutions for agri food system transformation. however, contrasting visions of how transformation should be achieved create difficult choices for aros. this paper reviews existing transformation narratives to build four scenarios of future aros: 1.
