Auburn’s 57th Annual Veterans Parade Set For Nov. 5 | Auburn Reporter Over time, the parade has grown into one of the largest parades of its kind in the united states of america. the purpose of auburn's veterans parade & observance is to positively focus on honoring our country's veterans and active military personnel. There will be a brief patriotic ceremony with the release of doves, followed by a three volley rifle salute and taps. the parade will resume on high street and end at the gold country fairgrounds. the first 500 veterans at the parade will be awarded a commemorative medal.
