Curious to get some thoughts from those of you with experience, on going with a pedal kayak vs. a pelican bass raider i have a tundra so portage isnt too much of an option i was just about to pull the trigger on buying a 12ft yak, but then saw the bass raider and am rethinking it serio. I was just wondering if this is the main lake humps that most people fish for sand bass. i would like my daughter to have a good time and get on some fish. Just in case anyone is even considering the pond prowler 2 do not buy this boat!!!! i have owned 6 pond prowlers gen1 in the last 10 years and i absolutely loved them. i've had my pond prowler 2 for 6 months with $2000 worth of upgrades trying to get this boat to be stable and to hold my 4. Want to give a big shout out to bassboatwired!! i have been talking to aaron since october last year. finally got my boat to him last month. he put a new ultrex, garmin 16” & 12” at bow, garmin 12” at console, transducers, and all new lithium battery setup on my 2005 range.

Just in case anyone is even considering the pond prowler 2 do not buy this boat!!!! i have owned 6 pond prowlers gen1 in the last 10 years and i absolutely loved them. i've had my pond prowler 2 for 6 months with $2000 worth of upgrades trying to get this boat to be stable and to hold my 4. Approx 10ft of rising water and the fish were jumping in the boat the past couple days. we had a blast. so much that the guys are coming back again next week. we caught 50 fish on topwater, spinnerbaits, and tx rigs. our largest in the boat was 6lb range and of course the big ones got away.
