Stock Photography Income Report 2020 Jamo Images A short but pretty depressing month from the point of view of earnings from stock photography in february 2020! just $2275 for the month compared with $2993 in february 2019 and the lowest monthly total since july 2017. it is hard this month to find many bright spots among the agencies, but i’ll try!. My overall average for the last 2 years is $0.82 per download. my average over the last 6 months is 75 downloads per month and $67 month. i've had 190 different photos downloaded but my top five by earnings represent 33% of my total earnings and 29% of my total downloads. My earnings on wirestock are about 30 percent higher than my combined earnings on adobe and shutterstock. wirestock reports my highest sales on depositphotos, followed in decreasing order by shutterstock, adobe, dreamstime, and istock. i have yet to earn any sales through wirestock's connection with alamy or with pond5. Looking back at one year of my sales, after all fees and commissions, my alamy earnigs were 40.3% of sales. i'm on the 50% exclusive plan. this of course was due to distributor sales cutting in on the action, and did not include dacs. i think expecting 40% gross is a good benchmark for business planning for now.
