In the spring of 2020, during the uncertainty of the covid 19 pandemic, skillup was founded with a clear purpose: to help un or underemployed individuals rapidly upskill and find fulfilling jobs. the challenge was clear—how do we connect workers to training programs and career pathways that provide stability and mobility?. From groundbreaking research to celebrating partnerships that drive economic mobility, 2024 was full of exciting milestones for skillup and its users. here are some additional standout. Skillup is a nonprofit that enables our users to break into new careers regardless of their degree holding status. we focus on careers that pay a living wage and do not require 2 or 4 year degrees. we identify the credentials associated to those careers and only feature high quality trainings that take less than 12 months and cost less than 10k.
