Imo harvard is a waste for rea since almost all applicants are deferred. yale and princeton are more likely to give a definitive answer. from what you described princeton sounds like the best fit so i would do princeton early and the rest rd. At harvard, there is the mit cross registration aspect for some cs classes and the harvard innovation labs. stanford has many too including startx. financial aid for both is similar. location isn't a main factor for me. harvard does seem to have a bigger network/name brand. Is a harvard online certificate worth it? i'm doing a free one month intro to programming course from harvard but to get the certificate i'll have to pay 170 usd which is expensive as hell where i live. if i have done a course, can't i put it in my cv with or without a certificate? so should i pay for the certificate?. "i hate harvard." we all chose harvard because of the clout, and in the end got handed literally no dorm or "house" community, an incredibly exclusive and toxic social culture, and ridiculous semester long comp processes just to join a fucking club. it's like harvard has to put barriers for everything and make everything so hard to get.
