Chain Extensions
Chain Extensions No macs have touch screens for their main screens. a few mac notebooks – all now discontinued – had a small, wide touch screen in place of the function keys. apple called that a touch bar. the most recent mac notebooks to have it were the 13" m1 and m2 macbook pros, which had plain m series chips, and were more like macbook airs than 14"/16" models with pro and max chips. Apple has discontinued all of their intel based macs. when apple came out with apple silicon processors, they took the a series designs from the iphones and ipads, and scaled them up for higher performance.

Windows 11 arm is the version of windows supported by vmware for use with fusion 13 on apple silicon macs. windows 11 includes a more robust rosetta like x86 64 translation feature that allows you to run a wide variety of applications compiled for windows on intel architectures.". Searching through the boot camp, virtualbox, utm, vmware, and parallels, it appears that windows 11 won't run on any intel mac. is that correct? and presumably that just means virtualbox, utm, vmware, and parallels, and arm version of windows 11 is needed to get windows 11 on an m1 or later mac? is there anyone who has succeeded getting windows 11 on an older mac?. I know this question has been asked several times but reading some of these leaves me a little confused. i need to migrate win 10 / bootcamp from a macbook pro 2018/ mojave to a mbp m4 pro / sequoia as i need the apps in win 10. is boot camp the best route and reinstall win 10 or would i be better taking the plunge by buying vm ware or its equivalent and hopefully install win 10 when i can.
