MetroHealth Adding More Clinics At CMSD Schools – NEOtrans Thursday, september 4, 2025 – cleveland – mayor justin m. bibb, dr. warren morgan, along with metrohealth and cleveland clinic officials, celebrate the grand opening of new school based health clinics at three cleveland metropolitan school district (cmsd) schools. A mix of federal and state funds along with a partnership of metrohealth system and the cleveland metropolitan school district (cmsd) have come together to spur construction of additional health clinics at four cleveland school sites to increase basic health care services to young people.

In a powerful partnership to improve student wellness and academic success, metrohealth and the cleveland metropolitan school district (cmsd) have opened a new on campus wellness center at anton grdina school, the fifth in the district. Cleveland inaugurates school based health clinics at three schools, funded by $3.7m in arpa funds, to increase students' access to healthcare services. Cmsd will add clinics at john f. kennedy high school and anton grdina prek 8 school in the fall. according to the ohio school based health alliance, there are currently 35 school based health centers across northeast ohio.
