The Worst I've Ever Seen. : R/UberEATS Working retail on black friday can be incredibly stressful. not only do you have to deal with a sudden surge of shoppers, but you also quickly come to realize that some of them are so entitled and toxic that they deserve to be called out. preferably on the internet! retail employees went online to share their biggest black friday horror stories, and they’re a reminder that nobody deserves to. 17 votes, 48 comments. truethe last costco order i ever took was 35 items 2 orders. the lady checking me out looked so stressed out with just the 35 items so i could only imagine 50. i don’t do costco ones anymore tho. everything’s heavy and not in bags and 90% of the customers don’t help you offload their stuff so it takes forever when it’s all big costco stuff and the pay is never. Every day working for a gig app like instacart can bring new highs and new lows. with some luck, you might see an order with a large payout from instacart and a generous tip from your customer. but on bad days, you might see order after order for the $4 minimum pay —and no tip!. A place to rant, ask for help, talk about local challenges, funny experiences, and general happenings in this business. that's all i've been seeing all week and all day today. it's almost 4pm and i haven't seen one decent batch all day. customers if you can't tip, go shop for yourself! i refuse to do no tip orders.

Is it your experience that customers who don’t tip through the app will leave you a cash tip? or do you get burned when you accept these orders? i personally haven’t taken the risk; if someone doesn’t feel my time and services are worth a tip, i don’t feel their order is worth it for me. 150k subscribers in the instacartshoppers community. **not directly affiliated with instacart** welcome to the best place to share your experiences…. One has to know their worth in this line of work. people take crap orders all the time around here. i don't understand it. i understand you need money, but your time is worth more than 2 3 hours of work for less than $20. i tend to only take $50 60 orders from sam's club or costco.
