Also, while i suggest using some other program then mapchart, if you really gotta use it i suggest you disable borders after you are done as it makes the map look much smoother. Post high resolution maps and make your maps recognisable/readable. if people don’t know what’s going on in your map or their eyes hurt while looking at it, there’s no point in posting a map.

Soviet union: soviet republics in asia consisted of kazakhstan, uzbekistan, kyrgyzstan, kalmykia, dagestan, azerbaijan, chechnya, georgia, armenia, abkhazia, idel ural, buryatya and sibir. soviets also had four puppets: mongolia, turkmenia, east turkestan and tojikistan. I was bored and made this map without thinking too much, just the tipical alternative east asia imaginary map.

My Alternate Asia : R/mapporncirclejerk Soviet union: soviet republics in asia consisted of kazakhstan, uzbekistan, kyrgyzstan, kalmykia, dagestan, azerbaijan, chechnya, georgia, armenia, abkhazia, idel ural, buryatya and sibir. soviets also had four puppets: mongolia, turkmenia, east turkestan and tojikistan. I was bored and made this map without thinking too much, just the tipical alternative east asia imaginary map. This is a map i made of an image i found on a students world history at a library. i'm not sure the source of the image, but it definitely seems to be an older map possibly before the discovery or exploration of america. Inspired by the world maps for official/published alternate history works thread, i feel an extreme urge and instinct to first and foremost look at a world map of a timeline or story so that i can even begin to like it, for me, the world maps write their stories, and not the other way around. I can visualize my world's geography in minutes, saving me hours of tedious work. the level of detail and customization is incredible, allowing me to create maps that truly reflect my imagination.
