Past Work | Plastic Free Seas Project the net free seas project (nfs) is a one year pilot project started by the environmental justice foundation (ejf) in ghana. in 2021. ejf is an international non profit organisation that is working to protect the natural environment and the people and wildlife that depend. Discarded fishing nets and ghost fishing gears are an extremely harmful source of marine litter that can have devastating consequences for marine ecosystems.
