Mobile learning (m learning) is used to considerably develop the forms of learning activities made by learners, and support the learning process. the effective application of m learning in higher educational institutions, however, is based on the learners’ adoption. 4. results 4.1. description of studies. a total of 1,481 initial outputs were identified, and after the study selection process, 63 studies with 64 effect sizes (n = 124,166) published between 2014 and 2023 were included in the meta analysis.the main characteristics of these studies are summarized in table 1.all 63 studies were published in peer reviewed journals.
