Assuming it’s a 33 gram then it’s either a bayonet type (this is what my cabela’s guardian tournament vests are) or the threaded cylinder (my dad’s cabela’s ?? vest have these). easy confirmation by looking at the current deployed one, if it’s got a black plastic bottom it’s the bayonet type, just threaded metal end is the other. I understand bass pro bought cabelas a few years ago, im wondering the the “cabelas” brand is pretty much gone now. there is still a cabelas website, but im not finding much on there that actually still has the cabelas name on it. granted it may still be the same clothing or product and just rebranded, but i always preferred the cabelas name over bass pro, maybe its because cabelas seemed. Cabela’s has way more tackle than any retailer near me. and it’s not even close. the rogers location has 30 aisles of stuff and it’s all in stock. i am primarily an in person shopper, not online. fleet farm’s pegs are half empty. scheels is the only one that might be close, but their tackle is only out for half the year.

The bargain cave at the cabelas in rogers is no more. all closed up and their moving all the camo clothing into it. went there this morning to see. My cabela’s guidewear is getting pretty soiled and it is time to wash it. i think last time i did this i got some kind of laundry kit from cabela’s. i wasn’t impressed with the outcome so thought i would ask the wise people (and bk) of ido for suggestions. i remember reading once that someone washed their gear and then just sprayed it with something but i can’t remember the details. When i was in the cabela’s in grand forks an employee said they will be doing an end cap or a certain area in each department which will contain the same junk they would put in the bargain cave. Cabela’s in rogers is plenty good. that said, aside from occasional clothes that i wish to try on or fishing rods that i wish to handle, cabela’s and scheels have very little that i can’t buy online, and probably for a little cheaper. i do like making larger purchases on the scheels credit card with zero interest for a period.
