Science Home Experiment St George S C Of E Primary School And Nursery

Science Home Experiment St George S C Of E Primary School And Nursery Every fortnight we will be uploading a science experiment for all children across st george’s to do at home with their grown up. each experiment uses items that you will likely have at home. This week in year 4, we have looked at non newtonian liquids. as scientists, we discovered that these non newtonian liquids behave like both a solid and a liquid. we found it fascinating and it was a very messy lesson… but lots of fun!.

Preschool Science Experiment From Engineer To Stay At Home Mom At st george’s science is one of our core subjects alongside english and maths. our science curriculum fosters children’s natural curiosity starting with our very youngest pupils in our eyfs class. We coducted this experiment as part of our science lesson for our topic this term which is air pollution. we were investigating how air pollution is formed and how it can affect the air quality. As one of the core subjects taught in primary schools, we give the teaching and learning of science the prominence and relevance it requires. through science learning, our children have a greater awareness of the role of science in everyday life. Here are some questions to think about whilst you experiment. why does this work? why are the bubbles round? why can you see different colours in the bubbles? remember to blow down the bottle not breathe in!.

Miss whittaker, miss lees, mrs porter, and mrs hicks would like to warmly welcome you to the nursery area of our website.
