Thus, technically, all muslims should be shaheed. so why are only martyrs refereed to as shaheed while a muslim who dies a regular non jihad death generally is not referred to or remembered as a shaheed. I am not an expert, but if i remember correctly, shaheed goes directly to paradise, if they are not in debt, and also those who read ayat kursi after the five obligatory prayers will go directly to paradise (according to hadith). But according to the rules shaheed wife also called as widow of that person (shaheed). as i am confused in getting this point that if shaheed is alive and we also don't call shaheed as a died person then what commandments about widow of a shaheed in islam? is she have permission to nikah (marriage) any other person after completing her eddat?. Can a muslim man die for his country? if it is attacked by a nation that has both muslims and non muslims in the army, although the non muslims are the majority and are the leaders of the country . If someone dies having stomach cancer will they become a martyr in jannah and have their sins forgiven? i know its for diarrhea, drowning, wall falling and ofc jihad but what about stomach cancer?.
