Voxel Art On Behance So instead of voxel firmware i installed the original firmware on this converted rbr50 to satellite, and actually it connected as satellite without issues (even to the router that has voxel firmware). so i guess if you have an rbr50 that was converted to satellite you shouldn't use the voxel firmware??. I read in the changeling that voxel incorporated "qca drivers/firmware are upgraded (integration from v2.7.3.22 stock)". i figured maybe that was causing the problem so i downgraded my satellite only to voxel's 9.2.5.2.13sf hw build.

Because voxel includes updated libraries, often more recent than what netgear ships, the "security vulnerabilities" are address in this custom firmware months ahead of the official releases. @voxel i just read you have been thinking of doing a firmware for this pair of devices and would love to know if you decided to begin work. i'd rather not switch to eero or tp link for a mesh wireless system and a custom firmware (or downgrading the firmware) seems to be my last remaining choices click to expand i spoke to @voxel about this. Hi voxel, appreciate your work. i've been using your r9000 build for years. i noticed the opkg feed url is currently 404 ing causing opkg update to fail. is there any other feed that could be used that is still actively maintained? thx. view attachment 59006 what's your goal? if it is to install packages from entware, you should call /opt/bin/opkg.

Hi @voxel, i followed your downgrade instructions to flash your fw into rbk50 but the stock 2.7 fw is auto updating it (for satellites and the router) after the downgrade to 2.5. Noticed my r7800 is at firmware voxel v1.0.2.60 i've apparently been neglecting for a while, and it has been super solid. i would like to update to this current version, but some posts re updating allude to first updating to more current stock firmware, then updating to current voxel for such a change. Am keen to shift to voxel's firmware, but whenever i try to downgrade my stock firmware from 2.7.4.24 to 2.5.2.4 the satellite (i have one) seems to automatically update back to 2.7.4.24. @voxel i bet some folks here will have a laugh when they read this as its probably my pea brain. but are you actually calling for 2 seperate usb drives to be implemented? in the readme.pdf what is communicated to said pea brain is actually 2 different possibilities. during ssh setup step 4. you request the following.
