The pandemic triggered a large, lasting shift to work from home (wfh). to study this shift, we survey full time workers who finished primary school in 27 countries as of mid 2021 and early 2022.

Working From Home Around The World: A Global Perspective - The Homeworker We surveyed college graduates in 40 countries across the americas, europe, asia and africa during november 2024 to february 2025 to collect information on working from home (wfh). we find five facts. Work from home (wfh) surged worldwide during the covid 19 pandemic, then partially receded as the pandemic subsided. using our global survey of working arrangements covering dozens of countries, we find that average wfh rates among college educated employees stabilized after 2022. Our new global survey of working arrangements provides new insights to answer these questions. how prevalent is remote work on a global scale? what are the prevailing modes of working arrangements at present? what are the foremost advantages of working from home and on employer's business premises? is there a need for policy intervention?. How does homeworking differ in different locations? we look at working from home around the world, sharing ideas and tips.

Remote work has fundamentally transformed the global employment landscape, evolving from a niche arrangement to a mainstream practice embraced by millions worldwide.
