Charan sachar lived in india for a significant part of his life where his mother ran a boutique, designing clothes for brides and bridesmaids. the designs, colors, fabrics and embroidery he came across then have a strong impact on his work now. Students are provided with the use of the instructor's tools and stamps to decorate and embellish clay slabs. these decorative patterned slabs will be made into tumblers, perfect for drinking or holding your knitting notions. extra cups are available for $15 each, paid directly to charan.
