I have been using sccm in testing for about a month. everything has been going fine up until the other day. when i send images to machines via task sequence the machine boots into pxe, but before it goes in it requires users to press f12 to enter the network service boot. We had updated windows update agent 7.4.7600.226 in few hundred systems, and found sccm client has got corrupted (issue with wmi) and sup entry has got revoked after the upgrade . Assumed that using the msi directly would be the sccm way to go, but that didn't work. then started using the consolesetup.exe and only after a lot of troubleshooting i found out that after copying the executable it still was looking for the msi file in its oroginal location on the sccm server. Currently deploying a new setup (server 2016 / sccm cb the latest version). we have the primary site server (server1) and a wsus server (server2). can the sup only be hosted on server1? or does it need to be installed on server2?. When running me driver installation with microsoft sccm server, can not install me driver.
